Open System Information and CHECK your server Locale is ...United Kingdom
(If you are in the UK!!).
If this is wrong you will need to change it – see below.
Now.... At the command prompt on Windows 2000 type the following....
net time /setsntp:"ntp2a.mcc.ac.uk ntp2b.mcc.ac.uk"
Change the System Locale for Windows 2000
1.
Click Start
> Settings > Control Panel.
2.
Double-click
the Regional Options icon.
The Regional Options dialog box appears.
3.
Click
the Advanced tab.
(If there is no Advanced tab, then you are not logged in with administrative
privileges.)
4.
Under
the Language settings for the system section, select the desired
language from the list.
5.
Click Set
Default.
The Select System Locale dialog box appears.
6.
Select
a language from the drop down menu.
7.
Click OK
in the Select System Locale dialog box.
8.
Click OK
in the Regional Options dialog box.
9.
Restart
the computer.
